Styled Shoot

Having been working through my new year’s resolutions for Digital Bohemia Wedding Videography, it was my aim to be part of a styled wedding shoot in 2014, and when Lauren of French Made approached me with the idea of an 80’s themed, super-kitsch, same sex wedding shoot I jumped at the chance!
On 11th November Mark and I traveled up to the Big Smoke to try our hands at our first attempt at a styled shoot. The perfect location for our shoot was the beautiful Brixton East, and on arrival we were immediately overwhelmed by the talent in the room, being very excited to be working with amazing names in the alternative wedding industry, including such companies as Paola De Paola Photography, French Made, The Origami Boutique, Beyond Vintage, La Dame Au Beret and the Vintage Floral Design Co.!

Our main aim of the day was to capture the essence of the shoot, and create a film that showed the true vibe of the event, as well as lots of sneaky behind the scenes. Filming on this project was an amazing experience, and working with other such talented members of the wedding industry left us even more enthused to push ourselves to new creative heights in 2015.

Our styled shoot has now been blogged by mrandmrsuniqueweddingblog.co.uk, madmoizellebeebee.com and wayoutwedding.com, and has led to us being invited to exhibit at theEclectic Wedding Extravaganza in Shoreditch on 1st March! We are so excited at being able to show our work to so many people through this project, and have definitely caught the styled shoot bug, with another in edit and a third planned for March 2015.
